CAES Lansdale, PA                                                                                                           02/2022-08/2023 Senior Warehouse Supervisor

Led the warehouse group at this Tier 2 Aerospace provider with a focus on safety, keeping production running, and inventory under control. Ensured that finished goods were shipped on time and correctly and that materials were received correctly. Worked cross functionally to achieve CAES goals.

  • Improved inventory control accuracy by more than 10 percent over the course of a year while also assuming responsibility for shipping and receiving

  • Produced monthly KPI reports highlighting inventory accuracy as well as kit turnaround time (time from planning release to available for production). Kit turn-around time was lowered from 8 days to the lowest possible reporting of 1 day

  • Ensured safe behaviors by procuring safe tooling, working through onsite Environmental Health and Safety, and setting safe expectations.  Efforts resulted in zero recordable injuries in 2023 and zero lost time incidents over the same period

  • Retooled processes for inventory accuracy backlog of surfaced discrepancies went from 5 weeks to 1 day

  • Achieved 95 percent utilization (direct spend) on warehouse labor in 2022. Established goal was 90 percent

CP FLEXIBLE PACKAGING, Bristol, PA                                                                               05/2021-01/2022

Warehouse Manager

Oversaw the warehouse and logistics functions for the Bristol, PA plant which supplied food and chemical packaging stock. Responsible for meeting industry established food safety standards.

  • Handled shipping, receiving, inventory control, Third-party Logistics relationships, carrier onboarding. Monthly logistics savings of 20 percent

  • Established warehouse ownership which lead to an 80 percent reduction in monthly OT

  • Hired staff to allow for a 24/7 work week to meet production demands

Led all operations in the Morrisville, PA plant including safety, maintenance, receiving, inventory, and production.

  • Buyer for all plant wide consumables

  • Led safety committee and regularly met with Safety Coordinator to discuss safety initiatives, resulting in an increase in safe behavior and zero issues raised during the fire marshal’s inspection

  • Decreased attendance points accrued due to call outs by 95 percent in 2020

  • Scheduled overtime as needed for 37 union associates. Became the go to expert on the Collective Bargaining Agreement Overtime policy. Created an Excel tool to improve existing tools, worked with stewards, union officers, and site wide management to monitor, improve, and fairly assign overtime

  • Trained associates on updated Standard Operating Procedures and / or business process improvements

  • Led the sterile supply team in 1 quality investigation while zero batches were rendered unusable during 2019

  • Ensured that the shipping, warehousing, and receiving functions kept pace with a growth of over 300 percent increase in production due the demand for chip and pin security cards

  • Created a JIT delivery process from the storage warehouse to the production building. Result was 75 percent less inventory carried in production (75 percent smaller production footprint)

Production Supervisor promoted to Warehouse Manager 

Held various positions of increasing responsibility between 2006 and 2014.

  • Led the team that designed and implemented the management of SAP discrepant materials (excess and obsolete, blocked stock, quality notifications). Result was an 85 percent decrease in the amount of discrepant materials held in the nine plants in the North American region

  • Led numerous initiatives to improve efficiency, training, quality and reporting in the supply chain as well as within the warehouse team

  • Assigned to run all cGMP production and review all of the GMP paperwork for accuracy and completeness to meet FDA regulations
